Heather Hook Supports Cleo Johnson’s Trek4Mandela Kilimanjaro Expedition

Media Personality and radio host Heather Hook showed amazing support by rallying up others to support the Trek4Mandela initiative I was embarking on. It was so heartwarming to see another woman with the same interests at heart, showing me so much love.

Heather clearly explains what we’re both fighting for and the issue at hand, “The Challenge supports Caring4Girls, an initiative which assists schoolgirls by providing sanitary towels and raising awareness relating to the menstrual challenges facing economically disadvantaged girls, such as the fact that a girl without the means to secure sanitary pads could miss up to 50 days of school per year.”

Heather mentions her close connection to the cause, “…this is one of the initiatives that is closest to my heart (followed closely by rehabilitating abused women and giving kids an education).”
